Zach Kittley was hired in December 2024 from Texas Tech, where he spent three seasons as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. He was 33 at the time — the youngest head coach in FBS. His quarterback coaching tree includes Patrick Mahomes II, Bailey Zappe and Davis Webb. At Western Kentucky in 2021, his offense averaged 44.2 points and 535.3 total yards per game and Zappe set single-season FBS records with 5,967 passing yards and 62 touchdowns. In Kittley's first season at FAU (2025), the Owls led the nation in passing yards per game at 340.2 and set program records in completions, attempts and completion percentage.

Zion Garrett (LB, 6-1, 215, Tampa, Fla.) is the highest-graded commit at 67.94 with 22 offers and the best PRO score in the class at 0.802. Reggie Harris (SAF, 5-11, 180, Orlando, Fla.) has the most offers at 24 with a 0.797 PRO score. Harris is one of three safeties — the largest position group — alongside Daryl Goring (Belle Glade, Fla.) and Tony Guillory (Houston, Texas).
The offensive line has size. Sean Hassan (OT, 6-7, 315, Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) is the second-highest-graded commit at 65.88 with 12 offers. Cornelius Moore (OT, 6-6, 330, Chicago, Ill.) is the heaviest commit in the class and the only one from outside the South.
Suhaib Ramseur (WR, 6-1, 170, Missouri City, Texas) and Brody Bartee (QB, 6-2, 185, Missouri City, Texas) attend the same high school — Ridge Point. Bartee is the lone quarterback. He committed April 21 with one offer.
MiCah McClintock (TE, 6-4, 215, Woodruff, S.C.) was the most recent commit, joining June 24. Mark Shiloh (DE, 6-3, 250, Jacksonville, Fla.) has 15 offers and gives the defensive front a pass rusher alongside Jerzey Lighten (DT, 6-4, 300, Lake Wales, Fla.).
