Defense is the priority. Ten of 14 commits play on the defensive side — four safeties, three defensive ends, two linebackers and a cornerback. The offensive side has two wide receivers and two interior offensive linemen.

Jordan Christie (WR, 5-9, 175, Decatur, Ga.) is the headliner. His 77.25 Profile grade leads the class by five points. He has 23 offers and a 0.875 PRO score — the highest in the class. Damari Jerry (SAF, 6-0, 170, Boca Raton, Fla.) grades second at 72.24 with 20 offers and a 0.855 PRO.

The defensive end group is the deepest position in the class. Omarr Luke Jr. (DE, 6-2, 235, Ga.) has the most offers at 25. Troy Butler (DE, 6-2, 250, Fla.) has 20. Jayshawn McCloud (DE, 6-3, 250, Fla.) rounds out the group with 10 offers.

Georgia and Florida account for 10 of 14 commits — five from each state. South Carolina adds two more. Thirteen of 14 are from the Southeast. Trenton Harris (IOL, 6-2, 285, Racine, Wis.) is the only commit from outside the region.

Roman Jennings (LB, 6-2, 225, Brentwood, Tenn.) has 22 offers. Levi Champion (LB, 5-11, 190, West Palm Beach, Fla.) came from St. Thomas Aquinas with 21 offers. Ayden Abdullah-Tolson (SAF, 6-1, 195, Douglas, Ga.) has 23 offers. The middle of the class is loaded with high-offer defenders.

Ten of 14 commits joined in June. The board is still building.
