Jamey Chadwell was hired in December 2022 from Coastal Carolina, where he posted a 36-15 record over four seasons. In his first season at Liberty (2023), Chadwell went 13-1, won the Conference USA regular-season title and took the Flames to the Fiesta Bowl. In 2024, Liberty went 8-4 with a Bahamas Bowl appearance. Chadwell is a spread option coach.
