The Diehard watch party returns Nov. 14 for UAB at Temple
Blazer Nation showed up for the first one. Now Diehard and Swing Away Golf are doing it again — with a polo giveaway.

The first Diehard Watch Party drew a crowd. Blazer fans packed a private bay at Swing Away Golf Club for UAB's game at South Florida on Oct. 31, watched on a 16-foot 4K screen with the sound cranked and drinks starting at $2 a pint. No fighting for the remote. No closed captions in the corner. Just Blazer football, the way it should be.
Now it's time to do it again.
Diehard Sports Network and Swing Away Golf Club are hosting the second Diehard Watch Party on Saturday, Nov. 14 at noon CT for UAB's road game at Temple. Same setup: private bay, 16-foot screen, sound on the Blazers game, cold drinks and food delivered to your seat.

What's new: polo giveaway

The setup
Swing Away Golf Club is located at 100 Frankfurt Cir., Suite DE, Birmingham — just off I-65 near Lakeshore Parkway, across from the entrance to Red Mountain Park.
The venue features Full Swing simulators, private bays with 16-foot 4K screens and a full bar. For the Diehard Watch Party, a private bay with chairs, tables and direct access to the bar is dedicated entirely to the Blazers game.
Bar prices: $2 Outlaw Light pints, $3 Miller Lites, $8 and $10 pitchers, local craft options from Goat Island Brewing, custom cocktails, wine and a full liquor shelf. Fans can also order food from adjacent restaurants in the shopping plaza and have it picked up or delivered to their table.
RSVP is not required, but it helps us plan for the crowd. You do need to RSVP and be present to be eligible for the polo drawing.
